TRYOUT FAQ
WHEN ARE THE TRYOUTS?

13s and 14s tryouts are on October 3rd and 4th. Tryouts for 15s–18s are held on November 7th and 8th, after the Wisconsin high school boys volleyball season.
WHICH AGE GROUP SHOULD MY SON TRY OUT FOR?

Age groups are based on USA Volleyball age definitions. Use this chart to determine the appropriate age group. Because OVC does not field a 12s team, younger players may try out for 13s. Most ages line up with a grade level: 13s = 7th grade, 14s = 8th grade, and so on.
DO I NEED TO REGISTER BEFORE TRYOUTS?

Online registration for both tuneups and tryouts is required for all players. Further, it is required that anyone trying out have a membership with the Badger Region of USA Volleyball. Click here for information on memberships. It is recommended to purchase a tryout membership and then update to a full membership upon being accepted to a team.
HOW ARE TEAMS ANNOUNCED?

Tryout shirt numbers will be posted to the website for each team. Middle school ages will have until October 5th at 7pm to accept their offer. High school ages will have until November 9th at 7pm to accept their offer.
